  Having had two operations on my right eye for detached retina and a later cataract operation on the same eye I am very keen to have regular professional checks on my eyesight. I was impressed with the attention to detail during my checkup and especially the OCT scanning which will provide a really valuable record for future monitoring.
  As I had previously registered with the Leightons website to select an appointment date I noticed that the website also includes a section to display my eye scans. Regrettably for some reason these scans did not initially appear on the website after the checkup so I contacted the reception to query this. I was impressed with the follow-up from the lady whose tenacity eventually resolved the matter. I am now able to view the many OCT scans taken and am very pleased with the quality of the images.
  I look forward to the usual excellent attention and treatment on future visits.

  Worth paying more money for a more professional service. Optician spent a lot of time with me and even retested me after I forgot my glasses. Albert the dispensing technician was extremely helpful and spent time find glasses to suit me. He was very friendly and very entertaining, making a dull visit to get glasses so much more fun
